Vaulting Mania

Hi All,

So it’s summer, and it’s a time to have fun (not that it’s not always a time to have fun), but summer especially. Vaulting (to me at least), can get a tiny but monotonous if not mixed up. So here are a couple videos that might make your summer vault rotations more lively.

This first video is of a really nice set up for yurchenkos and twisting yurchenkos. I love the hip lift required in it, and it’s a different way of keeping kids engaged and working by mixing things up.

If you would like to find more drills like these click here for my mini ebook on beginning yurchenko progressions – Beginning Yurchenko Progressions
This second video is a couple handspring front drills that are fun to do as side stations. I like to have a bunch of side stations set up around vault, especially ones that can be used for different entry vaults. And this set up can be used for all kinds of things.

What are your favorite vault drills?
