Because a little fun never hurt anyone

Hi All,

So I’ve done a couple posts before on the topic of uptraining specifically this one . But since we’re coming up on summer I’m guessing it’s on everyone’s minds. This time of year can be one of the most productive, especially if kids are having fun. Here are a couple ideas that you might like.

This first video is of double backs off a springboard. They are a great, great, great lead up to yurchenkos. The kids love them and they are a great way to develop air awareness.

If you would like to find more drills like these click here for my mini ebook on beginning yurchenko progressions – Beginning Yurchenko Progressions

This second video is another vault drill. I really believe this drill helps kids feel confident, and gets them used to the sequence of the vault even when they are tiny/young. It can also be used for upper level kids who are just starting to work fulls etc. Thanks again to Mike Durante for posting it.
