Alright, so season is officially underway. I judged my first optional meet on Friday. Here is what I have to say: “it’s a long season. The reason I’m saying this is because our athletes need to be protected. They need to be protected from too many hard landings, but they also need to be able to do the things we want them too. So today I am going to post two videos with exercises for ankle strengthening/ rehab/pre-habing. Your kids should be doing these MOST days at the very least, and every day is best. Make sure they know how important this is. This is what will allow them to get through all of the meets leading up to state/regionals/nationals with their bodies intact.
