The beam dismount process

I’m not going to do a whole lot of talking today because I think the videos are pretty self explanatory. But I tried to lay out a set of videos that explains how I go about teaching beam dismounts step-by-step. The reason I do it this way and that there are so many steps is because I want beam acro dismounts to go UP. If we drill and drill and drill them going up – and punching with confidence when we need to turn that back tuck into a double full, it isn’t so hard.

a) Low beam with spot – then without spot – also into pit

b) Low beam (or floor beam) going up

Part 3) Adding height

a) Medium beam

b) High beam to stacked mats

c) High beam
