I have to say, vault is not my favorite event to coach. I don’t dislike it, but there are often things that I would prefer to be coaching. That being said, vault CAN be really fun. And there are some really, really great drills out there.
This drill is great for teaching kids about body tension, and they always have a blast doing it. I’ve seen it make drastic improvements on helping kids maintain their shapes when they hit the table.
This second drill is a drill I use ALL THE TIME. It’s a drill you can use all the way up the levels and never really stops being effective.
